Recently, I decided to start growing a beard. It’s the first time I’ve ever attempted this, even though I’m 30 years old. There are a few things that prompted it:
So far, it’s about 2 weeks old and seems to be coming in okay, for the most part. I’m not sure how long I’ll keep it, and I’m going to have to learn how to trim and take care of it if I do. But we’ll see how it goes.
So, what do you think?

Yes, you do LOVE to make funny faces, especially now that you have a completely new looking face to work with. :) I am actually quite pleasantly surprised by how much I like your beard. Very fun!

LOLOL… of course the photos would digress into a full fledged funny face session. Love it.
I’m rather impressed with your beard progress – when Ashley mentioned you were growing one I was a bit skeptical (your dad and facial hair didn’t really mix) – but it’s coming in quite nicely. If you end up with some bare spots on the jaw/cheek line, you could always trim it down to a goatee. Maybe you’ll want a beard trimmer for Christmas :)

Get beard care tips from your Uncle Paul. He’s had one for years…

I like the beard a lot. They are a pain to take care of. I like the kind of short raggidy thing you got going on. Mine is so thick it’s hard to sculpt and play with. Enjoy, it looks good. Great post.

The last picture is my favorite.
It is looking great! It makes you look more your age, which is great :) Justin likes it too. He said it makes you look more like an outdoorsy type person, which is a compliment in his book :)
Love you!!

If you want to look older (well, at least scarier), keep on that last face.
