@Billy – We thought about it. We even test drove a Camry Hybrid. The problem was that the trunk was so small you could barely fit a piece of luggage in it. Also, we later learned that hybrid cars may not be as good for the environment as we think because the resources it takes to create the battery are more than you’ll ever actually use driving it.

Regardless, we’re selling the car now and moving to Costa Rica, and will probably just use public transportation when we’re there. But we do like our Infiniti. :)

It’s sad for your children that you wouldn’t think about preserving the earth for them and get a hybrid or other less environmentally damaging option.

Congratulations. The car sounds wonderful. John and Jen just bought a Prius Hybrid and it sounds very similar to your Infinti. I marveled at all the gadgets. I hope you have many happy driving hours. LOL- That really makes me want a new car. As you know, Justin and I both have old, dying cars. So it will probably be time for us to get new ones, soon. (Although our max will probably be more like $5,000- haha!)

Congratulations! A new car is so exciting – especially if you can get one you really love. And yes, Jen, that first scratch will be very painful – but then you’ll remember it’s “just a car” – and even though you’ll want to be respectful/take care of it, it’s just a possession. Looking forward to a test drive when I’m next in town.

Brandon, 0 – 60 in 5 seconds is DANGEROUS for you :) You are a complete speed demon! Maybe you need to invest in a radar detector :)
